Conference on data science for societal challenges

On November 22, ScienceWorks organizes a 1-day conference in The Hague on the responsible application of data and data science by academia, government and business. The program kicks off with keynotes from Prof. dr. Maarten de Rijke (director Innovation Center for Artificial Intelligence), Nal Kalchbrenner (Google Brain Amsterdam) Professor Sir Nigel Shadbolt (co-founder Open Data Institute). After that, various panel sessions and dicussions follow with various experts from universities, business and the government.

There is involvement from various organizations from the ePLAN community (e.g., Leiden Centre of Data Science, Utrecht Applied Data Science, Amsterdam Data Science, eScience Center). There is a 50 euro discount for the registration if you are affiliated with one of the organizations of the ePLAN community.
